Where It Started
Raging Birdie began as an idea formed between lectures, workouts, practices, and tee times. As a student-athlete, I wanted to create golf apparel that was high quality and comfortable both on and off the course, something that is clean, simple, and built with purpose. What started as a passion project that I planned to wear myself and share with friends quickly grew into a brand that I believe is market ready for everyone who loves golf and everything that comes with it.

The Ottawa Valley mindset shaped everything behind Raging Birdie, it’s all about working hard, a tight knit community, and staying grounded. This brand carries that classic small town mentality, put your head down, do the work, and let the results speak for themselves. That same mindset is stitched into every piece of apparel we make.
Meet the Founder
John Howie
I was lucky enough to grow up in the Ottawa Valley surrounded by sport, competition, and community. Most days were spent on the ice, in the gym, or on the course and somewhere along the way, Raging Birdie took shape.
Between practices and lectures, I started sketching logos, building mockups, and learning what it takes to create something from scratch. What began as a small side project became a way to represent the balance that drives both golf and life: intensity when it’s needed, and composure when it matters most.
Today, Raging Birdie is more than just apparel. It’s a reflection of how I was raised and how I try to live everyday life: work hard, stay humble, and never take anything for granted.
